It was fun to be able to see where many of you are living now and what you've been up too!

Pictures from the Reunion

I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who was able to make it to the reunion!  There was a great turn out, and it was really nice to get to visit with everyone and catch up!

I hope you all had a good time as well!

(Sorry to everyone about having the lights turned out on us and being pushed out early, apparently the janitor was a little anxious to get home)

Only a couple days left!!!

HHS Class of 2002. There is still a couple of days to get your money in (late fee will be added), if you're wanting to join us for dinner. We have to have your money no later than the 25th of August because we have to get the meals paid for. Remember, we will NOT be accepting money at the door and we will NOT be ordering extra food. There will only be food enough for those who have paid ahead

of time. If you know of anyone who has mentioned they want to come, please encourage them to get us their info asap, or they will miss out on the meal. They are still encouraged to join us for the evening and visit, but let them know there will not be dinner enough for them. Thanks everyone for helping to pass the word along!

Deadlines!!!

Hey everyone!  If you haven't already emailed us your information, or paid for your dinner for the reunion, we need that information ASAP!  The deadline for you to be able to pay regular price, $13.00 per person, is this Saturday, August 18th.  After that, unless you have already talked to me ahead of time, will be $15.00 per person.  Again, this price covers your dinner, delivery and set up of dinner, and to help pay for our location.  The absolute FINAL deadline is Saturday, August 25th because we have to have our final numbers to turn in.  Because we are trying to keep numbers down, we will NOT be ordering any extra food. We will only have food for those who have paid ahead of time.   So if we don't have your information, or payment, there will not be dinner enough for you. We apologize, but we have to make sure things are ready to go and to have the time to do it all in.  We still encourage you to join us that evening even if you don't get you payment in.  You are welcome to bring your own food (NO ALCOHOL), or just join us for dessert and visiting.

Reunion Details *Please Read All*

Hey everyone! 

We are needing to get numbers, and have you start making payments for our reunion if you will be able to attend.  Please read through all the information below, and leave a comment with your email address if you have any questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Our Family Day activity will be immediately following the Peach Days Parade at Three Falls Elementary.  You are welcome to bring your own lunches or snacks. Be prepared,  your kids at least to get a little wet.  Be sure to bring Sunscreen and water for your family as well. We will also provide otter pops for the kids. This will only last a couple hours at most. 

For our Evening, Adult Activity.  Cafe Rio will be catering our dinner.  We will be having enchiladas(2 per person), rice, beans, salad, chips and salsa. (If there are any food allergies, or other issues with the dinner, PLEASE let us know asap so we can work something out for you.  We don't want anyone excluded because of this.  We will work something out to try and accommodate as best as possible) This will be located at Hurricane High School. Once I turn our numbers in, they will give me the exact location of where it will be at the school.

We are trying our best to keep costs down, we know that with the economy and lots of people having to travel, that things can add up, but at the same time we are trying to make this a nice evening for everyone.

The Price Per individual for the adult activity will be $13.00 if paid by Saturday, August 18th.

If paid after this date, the price will go up to $15.00 per individual.

(If you are wanting to bring your own drinks to the events, know that alcohol will NOT be permitted since we will be on school property.  We appreciate your willingness to cooperate with this.)

For Dessert: We are asking all who are able, to bring some kind of dessert to share.  From cookies, to brownies, cake, etc.  We thought it would be fun to have a variety and make it a dessert bar.  At the same time, don't feel like you can't come if you are unable to bring one.  

Having said all of that, this is what I need from you.  I'm currently in the process of setting up a Pay Pal account for everyone to pay through so it's more secure on all ends and so you don't have to worry about your personal information being shared with anyone, not even me other than knowing if you've paid or not.  Because we are not able to have a link on this blog, we've had to do things a little differently. 

What I need you to do:

Send an email to hurricanehigh2002@gmail.com

with the following information:

1- Will you be attending the Family Activity, Adult Only Activity, or Both. (Please give your name)

2- If Attending the Adult Only Activity, please list how many will be coming and names. (You, you +1..)

3- We will try to accomodate as best we can, so we would like your top 2 choices of Meat for your enchilada's from these choices: Beef, Chicken, or Pork

4- If you are able to bring a dessert, and an idea of what you will be bringing.  (Keep in mind, others will be bringing things as well, so you don't have to make enough to cover everyone)

Once I receive your email with how many will be attending the adult activity,  I will send you an invoice and link where you can pay directly to for the reunion.  *YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A PAY PAL ACCOUNT.*  I've set it up so you can pay with a regular credit or debit card, or pay pal account.  (Again, everything is secure and no one will be able to see your personal information but you.) It is important that after you pay, that you either email me again to let me know you have paid, or list your names on the invoice so we can keep track of everyone.

I apologize, I know it's quite a few steps, but I hope this way will help to ensure the safety of everyone, and make sure we have accurate records of all.

Slide Show

During dinner we are going to have a slide show with pictures and information provided by you.  This will give us a way to quickly catch up on where you have been and what you have been doing since graduation in 2002. 

We need you to send a photo taken sometime during your senior year, a current photo or family photo, and a little write up of your current life.  (Even if you are not planning on attending, we would still like this information from you.)

Here are the questions that we would like answered.

* Where are you living now?

* What is your occupation or what you do to occupy your time?

* Your family status - if you have kids how many, etc.

* One thing that you would like to share that has happened in the last 10 years. 


Send those three 3 things (the past photo, current photo, and answers to questions above) to Kevin and Lori Murset at this email address lorvin@gmail.com  no later than August 27th.  Please put something about the slide show, reunion, or high school in the subject line.

Saturday, September 1st 2012

Family Activity at Three Falls Elementary Following the Peach Days parade.

This will only last a couple of hours at most.  We will have different activities for the kids and adults to do.

Adult only activity will be located at Hurricane High School at 7pm.  Dinner will be catered and we would ask for everyone who is able to bring a potluck dessert.  Pricing and other details for this event will be posted soon.
